Recent Work
My recent work plays with consciousness—what it is, where it lives, and whether it might one day wake up inside A.I..
Is consciousness something we each carry on our own, or are we quietly sharing it with other elements in the world?
A recurring character in my work is the all-seeing eye—an ancient symbol that’s been watching us for a very long time. In my paintings, it becomes both mirror and portal: inviting introspection while reminding us that we’re part of something larger, stranger, and deeply interconnected.
Styles
Abstract
Working primarily with black acrylic on wood, I lean into instinct, contrast, and simplicity. Influences include Picasso’s ever-watchful eyes, Franz Kline’s bold black-and-white gestures, Banksy’s graphic clarity, and Joan Miró’s playful, childlike freedom. These works feel immediate—like thoughts sketched before they fully form.
Landscape
My landscape paintings mark a newer direction in my practice. Ranging from small to large scale, they are driven by an urge to invite colour into my work and explore its emotional weight. These pieces are less about depicting place and more about sensing it—using colour, movement, and atmosphere to reflect healing, curiosity, and the layered complexity of meaning.
Ultimately, these two approaches are not separate paths but parallel ones. I’m increasingly interested in where they might collide—where bold abstraction meets colour, where eyes might appear in landscapes,
